satisfactory stay overall

good location clean room hot shower unstaffed premises tired communal area basic room facility
the location was good. it was only a short walk to the town center. the room had towels and shampoo and hangers were available to store clothes. the shower had really hot water with good pressure.
The premises are unstaffed. I think this is a real disadvantage. the communal areas seemed tired and flaking. the room facilities were quite basic.

noticeable dust non-functioning radiators
The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Parking was available nearby, made getting into the city simple.
I found noticeable dust in the room, specifically on top of the four-poster bed. The room felt cold, and some radiators did not seem to function correctly. I think a shelf next to the roll-top bath would have helped, as there was no place for toiletries.
